Submission of abstracts to the conference sections takes place until 05.05.2026.
The two - day conference is a meeting place and platform for researchers, teacher educators and policy makers from region and all over the world.
It combines inspiring keynotes, a wide variety of papers on research and practice of different areas –informatics, mathematics, education, law, economics, social sciences and active working sessions in a stimulating and friendly atmosphere.
Scientific Committee of UKZ AC 2026
The Scientific Committee (ScC) of the UKZ Annual Conference 2026 (UKZ AC 2026) is the key academic body responsible for ensuring the scientific integrity, quality, and consistency of the conference programme. It oversees the peer-review process for all submitted abstracts and full papers, guaranteeing that contributions meet established academic and ethical standards.
The Scientific Committee operates in close collaboration with the Peer Reviewers, who are entrusted with the evaluation of submitted abstracts for presentation and full papers for publication in the conference proceedings. Through a structured and transparent review process, the Committee ensures the selection of high-quality and relevant scientific contributions.
Responsibilities of the Scientific Committee (ScC)
- The Scientific Committee ensures the implementation of a rigorous, transparent, and consistent peer-review process, aligned with international academic standards.
- In collaboration with the local organising team, the Scientific Committee makes final decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of submissions, based on reviewers’ evaluations and academic merit.
- The Scientific Committee and its Chair operate in accordance with the policies, procedures, and guidelines approved by the Scientific Council of the Public University “Kadri Zeka”.
The local organiser, as a member of the Scientific Committee, provides logistical and organisational information (e.g. number of sessions, parallel tracks, room capacity), which supports the planning and structuring of the conference programme.
The Scientific Committee is composed by at-large academic members, and local organisers representing current and previous conference editions.
The members of the Scientific Committee are distinguished scholars and experts in their respective fields, ensuring a high level of academic expertise, international representation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Organizing Committee
The Public University “Kadri Zeka”, as the organiser of the Conference, plays a vital role in developing an engaging conference programme that can be effectively accommodated within the event.
The Organizing Committee is also responsible for preparing the final schedule of sessions and presentations once all contributions have been accepted. Each local organiser remains a member of the committee for one year following their conference in order to support and advise the next local organiser.
The Organizing Committee consists of staff from the Public University “Kadri Zeka”.

PAPER APPLICATION AND CONFERENCE FEES
- Paper submisison for UKZ Conference 2026 is done using on-line conference management system at uni-gjilan.net
- Template for paper formatting can be downloaded from same web addresses.
- Conference fee is free.
- OC of conference will përpare conference materials, Abstract Book, cocktail and refreshments, gala dinner and all other activities during the Conference.
TECHNICAL PRESENTATION
- In agreement with the organizer of the Conference, the interested institutions and companies can organize presentations of their scientific research, development and production projects and programs, equipment and products. Presentations may last up to 45 minutes.
- Presentation of products and equipment of companies 300€.
- Presentation of companies 400€. The price includes the registration fee.
- Donations/sponsorship 500€. The donor is entitled to one free room and a registration fee.
CONFERENCE LANGUAGES
Official languages of the conference are English and Albanian.
